Enslaved..

Sometimes making a decision becomes a fuss...
In fact it becomes a noose which tightens as the time comes closer. When too many people enter the arena, we can't defeat our dilemma. This discourages us of discernment. When our aim is held high, the friends influence us, and we go with them. But then as if parents come and spill milk.. You feel smothered by the expectations and too much buzz. But you don't know that's where a leader is born..
The leader has the ability to take the right decision at the right time. Only he can be a leader who can think of serving people at the cost of himself. Why fear when making decisions for yourself? You know what is right and wrong for you. Meet yourself every night to discover the gem in you and have an interview with an unseen hero.
While people will have their claims in for their desires, it is no wrong to choose for yourself when that choice can help another million people get their life. That's why it is said be SELFLESS.You can hardly make mistakes  if you have the intelligence with selflessness.
Parents, friends will push you away. But your politeness shall pull them. Have the power to convince with sweet words. It can be difficult...
But you have the courage don't you? Or are you flies waiting to fly just before someone stomps on you. Then take the decision which is going to be right for not only you but everyone. Parents can only help us, but they can't be in our place at all times. We are a different entity, and we have the freedom to make our decisions.
Therefore don't be afraid when people intimidate, you follow the right thing.

  1. We all are different individuals, each one a different entity. We all have a life of our own, and a pair of similar eyes, but different views. Our perspective is influenced by our parents, and the society as a whole. The society also includes our friends, teachers,... , and so on. While making a decision, we often regard them as sources of opinion, which they indeed are. But we shouldn't forget that parents are the most important. The teenage life is the era of gaining, and in adulthood, we utilize our collections. But in this age, we regard the society as more important than our parents. It's true that there is an age gap between parents and their children, but I can surely tell that parents may know more of your emotions and talents than anyone else. The are the one who have acted as a base on which we stood to look life. Our thoughts and views are greatly influenced by our parents' ideology.
We can't say that parents push us away, but the often guide us, because they are not just parents, they are people who have experienced many seasons of life. The will always be higher in rank in terms of experience.
And according to me, leaders are not the ones who serve others at his own cost, but those who , with their ideas, can turn the world upside-down for the betterment of the society, and make such decisions which make the most, using the least resources and benefiting his followers. His decisions must be appealing, even to those who offend him.
And a person can't be successful with intelligence and selflessness.Intelligence can give birth to pride and ego. What a person needs is patience, knowledge of facts and one's talents, experience, and a selfless attitude. The product of these qualities is called 'WISDOM', which a man strives to gain throughout his lifetime.
So, what we need to make decisions is solely 'WISDOM', which we gain by our knowledge, self understanding, experience, and opinions of others.
Our views can be conflicting, because as you have said-'each one is a different entity'.
    Pardon me for typing mistakes.

  2. What I meant by parents push us away was something different. At times when the decision should be in our hands, for example: take a simple one, choosing your stream, they identify their dreams with ours, sometimes some parents, not all, get emotionally attached to us. In such situations you have to convince parents, you can't definitely go against them, no one can forget we are made through them. But maybe in such a situation if we go against them, we can lose our interest; there is no problem if we go with them either, because we are satisfying them, but why not try and convince them when you can, so that you can pursue our dream as well as make the parents happy with it. When we know make something big, won't the parents like that we are standing high, even if it is at the cost of their liking. In most decisions it is the best to take parent's advice, they are the best help. But some decisions are some which you have to take independently too.
Leaders have a great value, that is of selflessness. They think less of themselves and more of the rest. Of course leader is not just another man without any thoughts and ideas. Of course only they are leaders who can shake the world. Of course they work for better. But I challenge you, find me a purely selfless man, and I bet he has a leader in him. Not every man selfless, without ego and pride. The words are actually hollow, the depth is in the value. It is easy to say he or she is selfless, but the actual selflessness comes from his deeds. He who can sacrifice himself for the true cause..
A person without intelligence and selflessness can't be successful. A truly selfless person doesn't know the meaning of "I" and lives fr oders. His intelligence is for their sake not his. Of course without experience success rarely comes. But intelligence too develops frm experience. When a person will be actually intelligent, and not in name, will have the patience to touch the goal. That's where I feel English falls short, its words don't have the depth as there is in Sanskrit. But still true success is something different from what it is perceived. Everybody will know it at the right time.

    1. Parents will, at every point of time, desire their children to be what they couldn't, because they see themselves in their children, and this is natural. At times, it may be a cause of conflict. But matters can be sought through little, polite talking, and this is the way to convince them.

And I want you to define leaders, because leaders don't just mean the ones who do good. Osama, Starrin, George W Bush, General Mao,.... were great leaders of their times. Although they were only good at cunningness, but the were great leaders to many. Allam Iqbal, the first to present the offer of a saperate Muslim state- Pakistan, was a great leader, but was run by selfish motives.
Mayawati, Sheila Dixit, Mamata Bannerjee, I ask you, are they intelligent, or are they selfless? None; they are are wicked politicians, who with their cunningnass have reached great heights.
Now if you say that they have, or will fall; then there is a great saying that pride comes before fall.

Hitler was no less 'intelligent' than anyone on the globe, that is why he was a success.

And then if you talk of 'true success', then I would say that 'true success' needs what I called 'WISDOM' and talent, added to a great luck. There will indeed be many who would push the aspirers back, and what they will need to achieve 'true success' is luck, which has empowered many whom I have mentioned. The story comes back from where everything started..........God. Only he can decide the names of success, be it of what type.

  3. Everyone has their different definition of leaders. To me leaders have to think beyond themselves as simple as that. Leaders are the persons who can make the common people recognize their potential and use that for their welfare. Osama, Mao,- they may have been good leaders to their communities, but are they to the world? I call him a bad leader who takes his followers to the wrong path- of war, killing innocents, if the situation doesn't demand and there can be better ways.
To your definition Mayawati, Mamta Banerjee, Sheila Dixit may be good leaders, but to me they are not the leaders of a true cause. They want their communities to flourish and the rest may go its way. I look for a great world leader who can lead the people of the world to a good cause.
Hitler was never selfless. That selfish man who can take lives of harmless cannot be called a human. He, who could kill the innocent people can never be a good leader. Where did he lead Germany to? Fall.
Still not many people know the meaning of true success. It is different from what it is perceived. Everybody will know it at the right time.
